Full instructions
The Drivona S2 is an in-car device with a colour display that provides live traffic, speed-camera, road-safety, and speeding alerts. It communicates with the Drivona app via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Alert data, road speed limits, vehicle location, and speed information are supplied by the phone. The device does not measure the road speed limit itself and is not a radar detector. The screen and full LED ring show status and alert information, while the built-in buzzer provides audible signals.

First-time setup
Complete these 7 steps: charge, install the app, grant permissions, power on, pair, mount, and check before setting off.
Dashboard mount / visual guide
Connect it, step by step.
Work while safely parked. Select a step to inspect the connection before you fit it.

Unfold the supports
Open both support feet before fitting the device. The left view shows the folded mount; the right view shows it unfolded.

Align the device
Steady the mount. Line up the device socket with the upright connector, then bring them together along the connector axis. Do not tilt or force the connection.

Connect the cable
Align the USB-C plug with the socket on the side of the mount. Insert straight along the socket axis; do not push it in at an angle.

Check the assembly
Check that the device sits securely and the connection is not under strain. Route the cable clear of controls. Mounting alone does not confirm an app or location connection.

Magnetic adhesive pads
Choose the position before bonding. Leave the pads on the mounting surface when removing the device for everyday use.
Magnetic attachment points on the back- 01
Clean the mounting surface and let it dry.
- 02
Align the pads with both rear contacts; peel and press firmly.
- 03
Let the adhesive bond before attaching. Leave the pads in place when removing the device.
Detailed steps
Test the position
Park safely. Match the supplied pads to the magnetic attachment positions on the back of the device and test the intended location without peeling the backing. Keep the buttons accessible, the light ring visible and the S2 screen readable.
Clean and dry
Choose a firm, flat surface suitable for adhesive. Remove dust and grease and let it dry completely. Avoid soft, peeling, waxy or strongly curved surfaces.
Align and bond
Once position and orientation are correct, remove the backing from the adhesive facing the mounting surface. Keep the pads aligned with the device and press evenly. Allow the bonding time specified with the pads before loading them.
Attach and check
After the bond has set, align the back of the device with the pads. Check for full contact, not just contact at an edge. Support the device and test gently: neither the pads nor the device should slip or come loose.
Full instructions
Remove and refit
Support the surface beside the pads with one hand and hold the device housing with the other. Gently separate the magnetic connection. Do not pull a cable or repeatedly peel the adhesive to remove the device. Realign and check the fit whenever you refit it.
Before you drive
- Keep the road view, instruments, airbags and vehicle controls clear.
- Check that adhesive edges are not lifting and button presses do not move the device.
- Install, remove and adjust only while safely parked.
S2 / 06
Sun visor mount
Secure S2 to the visor mount, then check that both raised and lowered visor positions leave driving unobstructed.
① Clip opening ② Outer magnetic face- 01
Slide the clip opening over the visor edge.
- 02
Align the back of S2 with the outer magnetic face.
- 03
Check the clip and device are secure and the road view is clear.
Detailed steps
Check the fit
Park safely and check the clip, pads and S2 housing for damage. Test the position away from mirrors, lights and controls. Do not use a location that is too thick, too thin or slippery for the clip.
Align the pads
Match the supplied pads to the magnetic attachment positions on the back of S2 and the contact area on the outside of the mount. If bonding is needed, clean and dry this area before peeling and pressing. Follow the pad bonding instructions. Keep adhesive off the screen and buttons.
Slide onto the visor
Hold the mount steady and slide the clip evenly over the edge of the visor until its gripping surfaces make full contact. Keep the device accessible. If fitting requires forcing the clip open, or it remains loose, use another mounting method.
Check visor movement
Align the back of S2 with the magnetic pads on the mount and check that it is securely attached. Support S2 and slowly raise, lower and move the visor through its normal positions. Check for slipping or contact with the windscreen, roof or other parts, and keep the road view clear. Remove the device before repositioning the mount.
Full instructions
Remove and refit
While parked, hold the mount with one hand and the S2 housing with the other, then separate the magnetic connection. To remove the clip, take S2 off first and slide the clip back along its insertion path. Do not twist or pull on the visor.
Before you drive
- The clip grips fully and both the mount and S2 are secure.
- Moving the visor causes no collision, slipping or blocked view.
- Keep airbags, mirrors and lights clear; avoid dangling cables that pull on the device.

Full instructions
The S2 screen can show the current vehicle speed and unit, the current road speed limit, alert type, distance to the reported point, connection status between the device and app, and battery level. Charging status is shown when USB-C power is connected. Displayed information is supplied by the app and the phone's location data.
The screen can show the following alert types: mobile speed camera, fixed speed camera, traffic accident, hazard, school zone, traffic congestion. The final icon design depends on the production UI and firmware version.
- Current road speed limit: 120 km/h; fixed speed camera 1.2 km ahead.
- Current road speed limit: 120 km/h; mobile speed camera 1.2 km ahead.
- Traffic accident 800 m ahead.
- Hazard 800 m ahead.
- School zone 800 m ahead.
- Traffic congestion 800 m ahead.
When the warning threshold is reached, the LED ring flashes red three times and three warning tones sound. Speed digits remain black.
The screen can show the following feedback:
- You have told Drivona that the alert is correct.
- You have told Drivona that the alert is incorrect or that an alert was missing.
- Drivona is about to switch off because the battery is low. Charge it as soon as possible.
Button feedback indicates that a report has been initiated. Successful upload and processing are confirmed by the app or service status.
- When a hazard is more than 300 m and up to 1.0 km away, the displayed distance updates in 100 m steps.
- From 150 m to 300 m inclusive, the displayed distance updates in 50 m steps.
- Below 150 m, the screen continues to show 150 m until the app clears the alert.
- If several alerts are active, the screen may show the relevant icons and information side by side or in rotation. The corresponding display ends after the hazard has been passed or the app sends a clear command.
- The app can set the display language, theme, screen brightness, and LED brightness. Day/night mode may adjust brightness automatically.
